2024 Salem Ride, Show & Swap Meet
Saturday Ride: Alsea Falls Ride Stop
Around a third to halfway into the ride we stopped at Alsea Falls. After this stop the road becomes twisty and undulating with scenery of dappled canopy bark and moss. This is a highly regarded road by anyone who travels it.
Saturday: Bellfountain Park, Oregon
Our first stop on the ride is Bellfountain Park. A beautiful day for a casual ride in the coastal range. We chatted and verified our vintage bikes were up for the ride.
Sunday Show: 1926 BMW R42
This 1926 BMW R42 is well presented with fit and finish. The green bike behind it is also stunning. Farther back even more to see, hopefully they'll be there next year to admire.
Sunday Show: British Section of the field
In the British section, we see Triumph's, Norton's and a special Brough Superior ridden from Portland to Corvallis just that morning.
Sunday Show: Three BSA Gold Stars
The three impeccable BSA Gold Stars along with their owners in a row were a special treat to see.
